For example, if we estimate the value range to be between $450,000 to $500,000, we will structure our commissions to be higher if the business is sold at the higher end of the value range and lower if the business is sold at the lower end of the value range. Reduced commissions if you find the buyer: If you find the buyer we should not be paid our full commission. If you find a buyer and desire our assistance in handling the transaction, our fees will be reduced by 50% of the agreed upon commission. Every effort to co-broker: If we represent a buyer in a transaction, we will make every effort to be paid a commission through the seller. If the seller has a broker, we will sign a co-brokering agreement with the seller's broker. If the seller does not have a broker, we will request a commission from the seller. If we cannot collect a commission from either the seller or the seller's agent, we will then give you the option of using us for a fee or proceeding on your own. |
